Aunts, uncles, and great-grandparents came for hamburgers/hotdogs on Saturday. Grumpy bought cane fishing poles and hooked up some worms but the fish didn't bite. Next time, the girls will catch the big one!
It was a challenge to get them all ready for church on Sunday morning and I had flash-backs of getting four little boys ready for church. We suffered from some post-traumatic-stress after the weekend and wondered how we survived the early years. After we recalled all the love, laughter and fun, we remembered how we survived.
What a great weekend! We thank our children for allowing us to enjoy a weekend of giggles, sleep-overs, pony tails, bows, and dresses! (Take a look at the bed-heads in the pictures!)
P.S. After we dropped-off the girls, we went to Dallas to hear our daughter-in-law Casey preach. Casey is a chaplain-intern and she delivered an awesome message of God's great love in a service for the residence of Juliette Fowler Homes. We are so proud of her!
Watch the slideshow in the side bar for pictures of the weekend.
