Our First Christmas at SugarTree Cottage

The view out the back windows looked like a Currier and Ives painting! We drove home from a family get-together on Christmas Eve through blowing snow and high winds. We saw several spin-outs and a wreck on the highway so we were thankful to make it home safely. James snapped this picture before the sun set. The snow melted enough to clear the roads by Christmas afternoon so we could have dinner with our family at James' parents' house. We took more photos and you can find them on a slide show at the right.
We are thankful for a warm home, a fabulous view, and a fire in the fireplace.
