Golf + Sylvia + Mary Jo + Sherry + Kay does NOT add up! But yes, we are trying to play golf. Sylvia and Mary Jo are much better golfers, Sherry is our scorekeeper and good luck charm, and I am tagging along behind. The weather was really chilly yesterday, but by the time we teed off at 1:30, the sun was warming things up and it was a spectacular day for golf - and friends and laughter. The course was empty - no golfers! In hindsight, I wonder if the people in the golf shop put out an APB that we were on the course so stay away!! Because there was no one behind us, we took our time (and it takes some of us a long time to make 10 or more swings at every hole) and didn't finish. We played 17 holes until we were losing track of our balls in the dark. James met us back at the house and we shared a "dark and stormy" drink and had more laughs! Another great day at Sugartree! Thank you, LORD for OLD friends and golf!
