Nader Cup 2015

John Nader takes the Cup
at the 20th Nader Cup Golf Tournament!

E.J. was not able to play because a bike accident shattered his collarbone.  After surgery to place a titanium plate and seven screws, he was still in physical therapy and could not swing a club.  He walked the course with his dad and brothers.

The conditions were the worse in twenty years of playing the Cup!  Over 8 inches of rain had flooded the back nine and the Brazos River was out of its banks and on the golf course. The rain continued all day. This is a view of hole 15 with water surrounding the green.

New baby Eliana made the trip out to Sugartree through the rain and flooded Brazos River.  She arrived October 19, 2015, weighing 7 lb. 2 oz. Her big brother Emmett has taken the new role of brother with ease, and he is loving his new baby.  We are loving her too!

The Nader Cup was started in 1995.  I asked James to get the four boys out of the house so his mom and I could get the Thanksgiving dinner on the table because they were hanging out in the kitchen eating every thing!  James took them to the golf course, and the first winner of the Nader Cup was declared. Who won the first Cup? DAD!

For the special anniversary, I created a photo album with photos of twenty years of family and playing golf.  We also ordered special golf balls with "Nader Cup 2015 Twenty Years" printed.  It was a fun day, and we are so thankful everyone made it safely here and back home in the stormy weather!

Happy Thanksgiving 2015!
