HELP! I can't stop sitting on the PORCH!

Does anyone know of a treatment center that will help me get off the porch addiction I have developed? I can't stop! There is so much going on at the pond and the sounds are so relaxing. I am totally addicted.

The Egyptian Geese have adopted our yard this summer. James hung a bird feeder and they seem to like the seed that falls on the ground. They are fun to watch, especially when they have a fight with the Canadian Geese. The Egyptians are very aggressive and dominate the pond! We have named the couple Anthony and Cleopatra.

There is always something happening: the white egret catches a fish or the blue heron takes flight, a fish jumps or a golfer leaps for joy after a great putt, deer cross the yard at dusk or frogs jump the steps in the cool of the evening. I just can't stop watching/listening for the next event!
The best porch-sittin'? When friend or family is sittin' with you. My friend Sherry came to sit last week. We laughed so hard and talked so much, we almost fell off the porch! James has been complaining about the squirrel who is climbing the bird feeder and causing havoc so he bought a pellet rifle. When the squirrel appeared, James ran inside to get the rifle but before he could blink and aim, that squirrel saw the rifle and ran around the tree and into the high grass. We didn't see (squirrel) hide nor hair for days. I think he had seen a gun before :)
Then....Cole's puppy appeared. Cole and his family live on the course and have a young lab that will not stay in the fence. Cole's puppy sat with us on the porch, which completed the porch-sittin' picture because everyone who porch sits needs a "dawg" by their side. BUT....Cole's puppy chewed up our shoes when we came inside! *#&^!! Sherry had some NEW gold little slippers too ):
The summer is going by so fast and I had so many projects I wanted to accomplish but I can't stop porch sittin'! Gotta go......something just happened.....I think I saw a fish jump...come on, let's go see!

  1. I have an addiction too. It's called going to bed at midnight, then laying in my bed and watching tv on my computer till 1:30 in the morning. Then waking up at 8:30 exhausted. HELP. - karolyn
