One-Thousand Gifts

In her book One-Thousand Gifts, Ann Voskamp describes "a transformation of the soul when gifts are identified.  Finding joy in everyday life through deadlines, debt, drama, daily duties by finding God's blessings in all."

I am going to accept the challenge of opening my eyes to gratitude this year, 2013.  I am excited to think about the many ways I will be blessed by identifying and chronicling the gifts of God. 

This blog will be used as a method of recording those gifts.  I hope to take some photographs, write down observations, and identify at least three gifts eveRight Where Iryday of the year.

I am praying for God's grace and discipline to find God's richest blessings in my ordinary life. I pray I will pay tribute to God by recognizing His gifts and observing His riches!  I want to LIVE each day in 2013, claiming the gifts God has raised up before me.  As the subtitle describes: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where I Am!
