Retirement, new babies, travel and more to come!

This blog has served as a diary of sorts: not only building and making a home, but building and making a life!  Since the start of this diary in 2008, life has moved swiftly.  I haven't posted very often in the last year, mainly because of time constraints.  Our latest sweet grandbaby arrived in June.  Adalyn Rose is a perfect, healthy new addition to our family.

We are so excited for John and Casey!  Not only did Adalyn arrive June 20, but John and Casey moved two days later to Corsicana where John will pastor two churches.  It was a wild few days, but everyone survived.

Right before Adalyn arrived, I retired from my job of 20 years.  I closed the door of the Tanglewood Elementary library and opened the door to many more opportunities to be with Adalyn and all my family.
