We spent the night in Fort Worth at the apartment so I saw Ashleigh and Alexis in the morning and walked to school with them. I was able to visit with my longtime friends Danna and Suzy who work at their school. After walking the girls to school, I met up with Jen and Emmett, Mary Kathryn and J.J. and Becky. We loaded up MK's mini van and drove to Corsicana to see Adalyn, John and Casey. We met up with MK's friend Jenni (who has recently moved to Corsicana) and her baby Cy. Our crowd was getting really big at this point, so we moved to the church next door. We were loud and big - just like the Nader reputation!!
We arrived back just in time to pick up Lydia at Kindergarten. We stuffed her in the van and drove home. We were just like a band of gypsies!
Add it up: Ashleigh, Alexis, Lydia, J.J., Emmett, and Adalyn - I saw all six in one day!
How I love retirement!! Thank you, Lord, for giving me this stage of my life to enjoy my family.
