Summer Vacation at Tybee Island

The beach house was over 110 years old!  The bathroom situation was a little cramped, but we worked it out.  The big porch that overlooked the ocean helped us forget about the small bathrooms and the out-dated kitchen. 

We had some great times in the waves and being together.  We missed John and Casey and Joseph, Mary Kathryn, Lydia and J.J. 

We ate at our favorite places, saw our favorite Savannah friends, and walked the streets of the historic city.  Some of the highlights of the trip: crabbing at the Scott's dock (password to view is "savannah")and riding the waves.  We played Bachee Ball and the girls buried the balls in the sand on the beach.  It took an hour of digging to find all 8 Bachee Balls!
